Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta

- 8 oz cooked spiral pasta
- 3/4 lb. Italian sausage
- 3/4 c. chopped sweet red pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 c. grated Romano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 can Rotel mild tomatoes and peppers
Instructions
In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat for 5 min. Add red pepper and onion; cook and stir until vegetables are tender and sausage is no longer pink. Add chicken broth and cook for 2 min. Add cream, cheese, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; add Rotel tomatoes. Cook over low heat for 8-10 minutes; stirring occasionally. Combine sausage mixture and pasta in a large bowl and serve.
